| Q: Do you support PHP? A: Yes we fully support PHP, however there is some restrictions on its use (see following articles). If you want NO restrictions on PHP then please consider our premium hosting. Q: Do I pay anything for your services? A: NO! We offer a 100% free service to our customers. Q: Do you support Zend? A: We do not currently support the zend optimizer, currently you must sign up for premium hosting plans for full zend optimizer support. Can domain be www.? A: Yes, you must add it from your control panel > account settings. Please type in the box, www.yourdomain.com, however http://yourdomain.com will then no longer work. Q: Do you support subdomains? A: Yes. Q: What's the max file size? A: The max file size for uploading any type of file is currently 1mb. A: Not currently on our free plans, but on our premium hosting plans. Q: What’s my FTP details? A: We will have sent an email on signup with your ftp details (check your junk mail folder) however in case you didn’t get it, the following information applies: ftp hostname: username.iifree.net ftp username: username ftp password: account password ftp port: 21 Q: How do I CHMOD files? A: Chmodding files is not necessary and you will find it does not work in FTP. This is because we use a more advanced and complex permissions system than chmodding files. Please continue with your script install, it will work fine. Q: Can I unzip files? A: No, only our premium hosting filemanager has this support however you can unzip them on your computer and upload them via FTP. Q: Can I use Web FTP? A: Yes, a service like www.net2ftp.com will work Q: What FTP client should I use? A: We recommend www.smartftp.com, which is free for non commercial use. Q: Can I upload .htaccess files? A: No, these do not work and are not allowed. We do however allow them on premium hosting plans. Q: Can I use dreamweaver to upload my files? A: No, you must upload the files manually. Q: Didn’t receive activation email A: Check your spam folder, if it is not there signup again using a service like gmail or yahoo. Q: How can I remove my account? A: Login to the filemanager, go to account settings and you should fine the remove account button at the bottom of the page. Q: I canno't login A: Either your browser does not accept cookies, or your system clock is on. Q: How many account can I register? A: You can have as many accounts as you wish, even under the same email address, as long as they all abide by our terms of service. Q: Can I change my username? A: You cannot, you must signup again and transfer your files to your new account Q: Do you support MYSQL? A: Yes, however you need to Enable this feature to be able to use it. Q: How to import large database A: If you search for "mysql big dump importer" at google.com, you may be able to import your large database into our free hosting service. Q: How to backup a database A: You can backup via phpmyadmin >> export. Q: Lost database password A: You must delete this user and create it again, remember to update your scripts config file with the new database user connection information if it has changed. Q: Do you support gzip? No, only on our premium hosting plans. Q: Do you backup my files? A: No, you are responsible for your own data and your own backups. Q: Do you offer cron jobs? A: No. Q: custom error pages? A: No, only on premium hosting plans Q: Can I run python scripts? A: No, this is strictly forbidden and will not work. Q: Do you support CGI? A: No, not on our free service. Q: Can I use SSI? A: No, this service is not enabled on our free service. Q: Can I use CSS and xHTML on my website? A: Yes, this allowed.
